In this two-part series, Sweden-China Trade Council have invited AWA Asia to share their views and knowledge on the latest developments within patent and trademark issues in China. The first webinar on December 2 will focus on trademarks and this second webinar on December 10 will focus on patents. We hope that you will join us for these up-to-date presentations.
China is a unique jurisdiction when it comes to intellectual property and one that warrants particular attention, whether as a key global market or a manufacturing destination for international companies. In this webinar, Xiaofan Chen from AWA Asia will debunk myths from the on-the-ground reality they experience navigating China’s patent regime. Xiaofan will consider emerging trends such as rapidly changing patent law and practice towards China’s pro-patentee landscape, improved trade secrets protection, effective remedy of injunctions etc., from three aspects of preparation for market entry, patent filing and prosecution, and patent enforcement in China.
