The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOFCOM), is scheduled to be held from September 8th to 11th, 2026, in Xiamen, China. The 26th CIFIT will focus on three key areas of “Invest in China,” “Chinese Investment” and “International Investment”, and will host multiple investment-themed events such as policy release, thematic seminar, and projects matchmaking activities.
Co-hosted by six international organizations, including the United Nations Trade and Development, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the World Trade Organization, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, the International Finance Corporation, and the World Association o f Investment Promotion Agencies, CIFIT bears the permanent theme of “Expanding Two-Way Investment, Jointly Facilitating Global Development” and is dedicated to building the platform for two-way investment promotion, authoritative information release and investment trend discussion. It is China’s only state-level exhibition focusing on investment and one o f the world’s most influential international investment events. Having been successfully held for 25 consecutive editions, CIFIT has become a n effective platform for global investors to deepen concrete cooperation.
The CIFIT, with the permanent theme of “Expanding Two-Way Investment, Jointly Facilitating Global Development”, is held annually from September 8th to 11th in Xiamen, China. The 25th edition held in 2025 covered a total exhibition area of 120000 square meters, attracting participants from 138 countries (regions) and international organizations, more than 1100 government authorities and business delegations, and over 80000 attendees. A total of 1154 investment projects were signed, with the scale and level of participating guests reaching a new high in recent years.
