China has established a growth target of around 5% for 2024, and there are clear attempts to stimulate the economy. At the same time, the market is struggling to rebound and consumption has not yet taken off. It will be key for Swedish companies to identify pockets of growth and clarify their China strategy. The market is no longer a guarantee for double digit growth, but there are definitely business opportunities if companies are willing to take an active approach and adapt to the rapidly changing environment.
Joakim Abeleen, Vice President East Asia and Pacific for Business Sweden and Sweden’s trade commissioner to China, will discuss opportunities and challenges in the market, and how companies can navigate today’s business environment.
Whether you are already established or contemplating expansion, our session aims to equip you with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions and for you to share and discuss your own perspectives with a group of peers.
Joakim Abeleen, Vice President & Head of Region East Asia and Pacific, Business Sweden and Trade Commissioner to China.
