Greater Bay Area – one of the four largest bay areas in the world, but how is it defined, and how big is the population and its economic figures? This webinar invites you to learn about Hong Kong’s innovation ecosystem, covering key sectors such as fintech, biotech, and AI. The session will continue with an exploration of the GBA’s role in fostering innovation across its 11 cities, focusing on cross-border collaboration, infrastructure development, and the integration of technology and industry.
Join us to get the latest insights on the Innovation Landscape in Hong Kong with Jayne Chan, Head of Startups, Invest Hong Kong, giving a deep dive into Hong Kong’s innovation ecosystem, covering key sectors such as fintech, biotech, and AI. Discussion on government policies, funding opportunities, and the role of universities and research institutions.
The Role of the Greater Bay Area (GBA) in Driving Regional Innovation presented by Matthew Ip, SVP GBA Business Development, Invest Hong Kong, will give an exploration of the GBA’s role in fostering innovation across its 11 cities, with a focus on cross-border collaboration, infrastructure development, and the integration of technology and industry.
The webinar also includes presentations from successful startups and companies in Hong Kong and the GBA that have leveraged innovation to scale their businesses. Insights into challenges, solutions, and the unique opportunities the region offers.
