We have invited Joakim Abeleen, Trade and Invest Commissioner of Sweden to China and Market Area Director Greater China, Business Sweden together with Elisabeth Lindström-Dupuy, General Manager, Sales Area North Asia, Sandvik Coromant and Peter Worsöe, CEO, AstaReal to give us their experiences on the topic.

Joakim Abeleen is the Trade Commissioner of Sweden to China, and heads up Business Sweden’s activities in Greater China with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taipei. The mission is to help Swedish companies grow their sales in China and Chinese companies to invest and expand in Sweden. Joakim has a background as management consultant and as line manager in a larger transport company, and has lived and worked in China at several occasions over the last 15 years.

Elisabeth Lindström-Dupuy, since 1995 at Sandvik, recently appointed as responsible for M/A in China as VP SR Tools China. Elisabeth has a broad experience within manufacturing and engineering, through different assignments and responsibilities in Europe and Asia. Her roles have been both within production, engineering and sales & marketing, always customer and solution oriented. In her last position, as head of the sales organization in northern Asia, business development and changes in ways of working towards digitalization and sustainability have been her focus. Elisabeth is a Member of the Board of Directors of Sweden-China Trade Council since 2021.

Peter Worsöe is CEO of AstaReal AB since 2019.
