Industrial Urbanization Program – a national level platform for implementation of cooperation between China and Sweden to incorporate the Hammarby Model and Swedish green technologies

The national Industrial Urbanization Program (IUP) has been set up to design pilot zones in developed areas and core cities in China. These pilot zones have, from the start, been prepared to incorporate the Hammarby Sjöstad Model and Swedish green technologies. On the occasion of the visit to Sweden by a delegation from IUP and the China Urban-townization Promotion Council (CUPC), Professor Zheng Xinli, Executive Vice President, CUPC will present  IUP and the possibilities for cooperation with Swedish green technologies within the program.

IUP was launched in January 2017 jointly by the following 6 organizations: the National Development and Reform Commission, China Development Bank, China Everbright Bank, China Enterprise Confederation, China Enterprise Directors Association and China Urban-townization Promotion Council.
