China’s green transition

Many Swedish companies have global ambitions for carbon neutrality, but one of  the main challenges faced in achieving this is their manufacturing and supply chain footprint in China. Today, the primary energy source in the country is coal but with China’s carbon neutrality target for 2060, a transition is in the process.

In this webinar we will look into questions like:

  • What are the main challenges faced by Swedish companies in China when it comes to the green transition?
  • How will China’s carbon neutrality target be achieved?
  • How is this renewed focus on carbon neutrality affecting Swedish businesses in China?
  • How can a Swedish company contribute to the process?
  • What are the outlooks for the future?
  • What are Business Sweden doing together with companies to address these challenges?

We have invited Per Portén, Market Manager and Amanda Alkemark, Government Affairs and Project Manager, both at Business Sweden in Shanghai as well as Zipei XuProject and Communication Manager at PowerCell Fuel Cell (Shanghai) to give their take on China’s green transition.
