Ingela Mauritzon, born 1980, is partner and co-founder of Fabola, a consultancy specializing in medtech regulation and market access for startups and scaleups in healthcare and healthtech. She holds a Master’s in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Lund University and is currently pursuing a PhD at Halmstad University in Innovation Science within regulated contexts, focusing on how notified bodies adopt innovation.
Her decade in Beijing shaped her understanding of Sino-Swedish business. Ingela studied Chinese at Beijing Language and Culture University and worked at the Embassy of Sweden and at Beijing Tiantan Puhua Hospital, giving her firsthand experience in both diplomatic and clinical environments. She brings deep knowledge of regulated markets, cross-cultural collaboration, and the innovation challenges facing healthtech companies entering China and Europe.
Ingela became Substitute Member of the Board of Directors of SCTC in 2026.
