Lunch meeting with H.E. Ambassador ZHOU Limin

Sweden-China Trade Council is honored to invite to a lunch meeting with His Excellency Ambassador Zhou Limin on May 8, 2026, in Stockholm.

Ambassador Zhou Limin handed his credentials to His Majesty the King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf, on March 18. Since then, Ambassador Zhou Limin has been active to introduce himself different organizations in Sweden to continue the work of his predecessor Cui Aimin who returned to China in October last year.

With a successful year in the bilateral relations in 2025, Ambassador Zhou Limin will give his view on the development to further strengthening the relations in general and business relations in particular between Sweden and China.

An experienced diplomat, Zhou Limin born in 1967 a native of Shandong Province, has served in a wide range of consular and overseas postings throughout China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

Most recently, Zhou served as China’s Ambassador to Kiribati from September 2023 until January 2026. In this role, he led China’s diplomatic mission and represented China in its official engagement with Kiribati, supporting bilateral relations and cooperation. Prior to his role in Kiribati, Zhou served as Consul General of China in Sydney (with ambassadorial rank) from 2020 to 2023. Before this, he held senior responsibilities as Deputy Director General of the MFA’s Department of Consular Affairs from 2015 to 2020. Zhou briefly participated in local government, serving as Vice Mayor of Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in his career, Zhou served overseas as Deputy Consul General at the Consulate General of China in New York (2008–2013), and held postings at the Consulate General of China in Toronto (2001–2005) and the Embassy of China in the Netherlands (1994–1996).
