Sweden-China Trade Council is happy to invite you to the presentation of this year’s Business Climate Surveysfor Mainland China and Hong Kong, mapping the current and future business environments experienced by the Swedish companies active on the markets.
The Business Climate Surveys for Swedish Companies in Mainland China and Hong Kong are conducted yearly by Team Sweden in China and Hong Kong respectively. In Mainland China, the survey has been carried out since 2000 and in Hong Kong since 1997. The purpose of the surveys is to better understand the performance of Swedish companies, the challenges and opportunities they face, as well as their outlook in the China and Hong Kong markets.
The surveys are based on responses from in total around 160 companies across sectors, and analyses the performance,business climate and future outlook for Swedish companies operating in China and in Hong Kong.
The results will be presented by Louise Bergholm, Consul General, Sweden’s Consulate General in Hong Kong, Gabriella Augustsson, General Manager at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, Malin Hammarén, General Manager at the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China, as well as Per Portén, Country Manager China, Business Sweden and Johan Thurée, Market Manager Hong Kong, Business Sweden.
Team Sweden in China consist of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China, Business Sweden, the Swedish Embassy in Beijing and the Swedish Consulate General in Shanghai.
Team Sweden in Hong Kong consist of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, Business Sweden, the Swedish Consulate General in Hong Kong.
The Business Climate Surveys are an integrated Team Sweden initiative, conducted among Swedish company representatives in China and in Hong Kong. They aim to gauge the business sentiment as well as challenges and opportunities in the two markets and, as such, play an important informative role in Team Sweden’s work supporting Swedish businesses in China and in Hong Kong.
