Unlocking the 5G potential in the smart factory – Connecting the dots in Chinese manufacturing industry

China has the world’s largest manufacturing sector, with world-leading industrial clusters in many sectors and a continuing trend of upgrading production technology. As domestic and foreign manufacturers in China face rising labour costs, demanding customers and rising environmental requirements, Swedish companies are well positioned to provide solutions.

China invests heavily in 5G networks, and sees a major source of value to be industrial use-cases for 5G in the manufacturing sector. Given the scale and speed of innovation in China, Business Sweden is engaged in working with leading Swedish businesses to explore cutting edge use-cases, position Sweden and find synergies for Swedish companies in China.

From Business Sweden, Joakim Abeleen, Market Area Director Greater China, will together with Johan Annell, project manager in Beijing for “Swedish smart industry in China” & Petter Sund, program manager smart industry (based in Sweden): share insights from the Chinese market, and what it means for Swedish solution providers, integrators and manufacturers. Also participating sharing leading Swedish companies views and experiences during the webinar are Ming Chen, CTO China, Ericsson, Yong Liang Tang, Marketing & Segment Sales Manager MVI China, Atlas Copco and Arne Kloosterman, Head of Asia, Westermo.

This webinar is organized in co-operation between Business Sweden, Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China and Sweden-China Trade Council.
