Is the Chinese rapidly growing elderly care market something for your company? Join Swecare and Sweden-China Trade Council to learn more about opportunities for Swedish providers with a potential on the giant and growing Chinese elderly care market.

China is ageing rapidly. In only two years 20% of the population will be over 65 years. And in 2035, 400 million, or 30% of the population will be over 65. The rapidly ageing population of China is affecting many societal sectors, foremost the labour market, but, also the urban development sector. New concepts and technologies are needed in order to provide services to the elderly using less manual labour and still maintaining high qualities of life.

Sweden and the Nordic countries are seen as forerunners in providing innovative solutions for an ageing population. Swedish products are known for high quality in China, which can be used as a competitive advantage in the market.

White Peak, which is a Swedish real estate developer active in China since 2005*, is in cooperation with Guoke Longhui, a private equity investment company, interested in starting a cooperation with Swedish technologies providers that could have a potential on the Chinese elderly care market.

Together with Swecare, Sweden-China Trade Council is happy to receive Ms. Freda Zhang, Strategic Partner at Guoke Longhui and former deputy CEO of IKEA China on April 13. Ms Zhang has offered to talk about the rapid development of the Chinese elderly care market during her visit to Stockholm. In addition, Jonas Törnblom, Senior Advisor to White PeK, will present White Peak’s operations in China as well as the China-Sweden Eco City Alliance, an initiative supported by Business Sweden and the Swedish Embassy in Beijing.

If you have products or technologies that you believe could have a potential in meeting the future needs of the Chinese elderly care market, we would like to invite you to this seminar. You will also get an opportunity to make a presentation of your company and products if you are interested.

Where? Swecare’s offices, Sveavägen 63, Stockholm.
When? Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 14:00 – 16:00 CEST.
