Ira Thilén

Ira Thilén, born in 1955, is Director, Public Affairs, AB Volvo since 2003. Before joining AB Volvo, Ira Thilén held positions with the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, handling trade policies as well as with the Ministry of Energy. Ms Thilén has also been working with the Swedish consultacy firm, Kreab.

AB Volvo has been active in China since the 1970’s and since 1994 Volvo Bus has a manufacturing plant in China. Volvo Penta, Volvo Construction Equipment and Volvo Aero are also well established brands in China.

Ira Thilén became Member of the Board of Directors of SCTC in 2010.
